Roger Ellis spent 49 years at Smiths Group plc, a FTSE 100 Engineering company. 38 of these were spent in senior management and M&A positions in Europe and North America reporting to the main Board Directors.
Roger created and developed Smiths Group’s Interconnect Division into a business unit with annual sales exceeding GBP200 million and trading profits of over GBP35 million.
He has extensive M&A experience, having completed over 40 acquisitions and disposals to date in Europe, the US and China.
Roger retired from Smiths Group in 2008. He remains active in various industry trade associations and government advisory bodies.
